By utilizing the same 8000t forging press used to construct F1 wheels, a rim each weighing in at approximately 1kg was achieved for the Prius. With these wheels, the reduced lower suspension load provides more stability in terms of control and promotes safety. Better fuel efficiency can be experienced as well, in the new Eco-sports machine of the new era.
